Cicatelli Associates Inc. (CAI)
is a nonprofit organization that provides training and capacity
development for health and human services providers, both
nationally and internationally. For 30 years our work has
enhanced the breadth and quality of health care and social
services delivered to underserved and vulnerable populations.
CAI addresses some of the most challenging health issues of our
times by working to overcome health disparities, eliminate
stigma and discrimination, and provide solutions to addressing
increasing needs with decreasing resources.
TACKLING TOUGH ISSUES
CAI
finds practical ways to reduce the impact of a problem. We
invite new perspectives, explore every aspect of a dilemma, and
forge partnerships with others who are committed to change. We
develop training programs, seminars, and conferences that
clarify the major issues and move communities in a positive
direction, one step at a time.
TEACHING NEW SKILLS
CAI
practices the principles of adult learning with an interactive
and dynamic approach. Our staff are highly experienced
professionals who are experts in psychology, psychiatry,
medicine, behavioral science, social services and education. CAI
trainers encourage and inspire ever higher expectations,
contributing to a tomorrow that is better than today.
MEETING NEW NEEDS
From new diseases to emerging pockets of poverty, some new needs
present tough, intractable issues, while others are baffling
only because they’re unfamiliar. An effective response to any
new problem begins with analysis. CAI combines our resources
with staff knowledge and experience to find the best starting
point for reaching solutions.
RAISING THE BAR
CAI
helps people to analyze their relationship to their immediate
environment and to the larger world. We assist in articulating
concerns in ways that prompt development and growth. CAI
trainers give staff the skills to respond to a changing
environment and they ask probing questions about how this change
can be made constructive.
BUILDING BRIDGES
CAI
is expert in building and rebuilding the bridges that make
systems of health care, education, and communication services
work for people. We build bridges between management and staff.
Between staff and clients. Between communities with common
needs. And between providers so they can exchange information,
share responsibility, and better meet the needs of the people
they serve. |
